RECENT BREVARD LIONS CLUB ACTIVITIES -
We collected $516 in donations during White Cane Day November 7 at K-Mart and Food Lion. This money will go to the North Carolina Lions Foundation to support Camp Dogwood, matching funds for glasses and exams, and many other worthwhile state-wide projects.
Long-time member Rev. Ed Roy died on November 1. He was a member of the Brevard Lions Club for 46 years. He joined the Brevard Lions Club in 1958 and resigned due to poor health in 2004. He was President in 1964-65 and Vice President 7 times. He was Chaplain at Brevard College and a Professor there.
Congratulations to Lion John Lindsay, who received the "Lion-of-the-Year" award for his outstanding club work last year!

Congratulations to Lion Ted Fredley, who received the prestigious Jack Stickley Award at the annual picnic meeting! We have pictures of the event in "Recent Club Photos".
We made only $175 at the Halloween Fest, but cleared $558 selling hot dogs and drinks at the recent 140th Brevard Anniversary street festival. We made $1147 at the 4th of July street festival! We made over $710 at our Flea Market on Saturday May 31. Thanks to all those Lions who helped with these sales! This is the money we'll use for our charitable vision projects.
